• Bush Fly (Musca vetustissima)
• House Fly (Musca domestica)
• Stable Fly (Stomoxys calcitrans)
• Midges or Sandflies (Culicoides spp.) therefore aiding in the prevention of Queensland Itch associated with (Culicoides spp.).



DOSAGE / DIRECTIONS OF USE:

Application to animal: Lightly spray the animal, from head to rear. In case of severe infestation, apply FLYAWAY® twice daily. The applicator nozzle should be positioned about 10-12cm from the skin surface. Liberal application should be applied onto areas such as ears, manes and tails.


Flyaway starts to act instantly but also has an extended effect. The duration of action can be increased by increasing the amount of FLYAWAY applied.  FLYAWAY can be conveniently sprayed on to relieve fly worry for simple handling procedures or applied in a heavier spray for a more sustained effect.

Mild fly problem or for short handling or simple produces            

• Light spray whole horse particularly around ears mane, rear and legs

Medium fly problem or for extended handling, riding or procedures

• Spray whole horse with a thorough covering of product till coat almost appears damp

Heavy fly problem or for extended relief for highly sensitive horses until coat is quite damp.              

• Heavily spray entire horse taking particular care around ears, rear and legs

Application to surroundings:


FLYAWAY® should also be applied to stable areas, rugs etc. to control insects in the horse’s surroundings as part of an integrated insect control program. Thoroughly spray all areas where flies land around where horses live and work. Spray horse gear and bedding for additional protection. When spraying gear be careful to check safety on delicate materials.

Avoid spray getting into the eyes or sensitive mouth areas. FLYAWAY® should be applied on dry coats and avoid use if the horse is wet or sweat is present.
